Now we are here in present day and our story has only just begun. Self-taught by his grandmother Mattia brought his skills and his love of Italian cuisine to San Francisco and alongside the impeccable culinary staff made 54 Mint ‘THE Roman Restaurant’ of the West Coast. In 2011, Gianluca brought a young, but incredibly talented, Roman chef to the team – Mattia Marcelli.
